Pharrell Williams has placed himself on “Pha-Really” Hot Tracks this Summer

Skateboard P, otherwise known to the mass public as Pharrell Williams, may have cemented further accolades to his discography. This one pertains to Pharrell being the King of The Summer, having produced and appeared on multiple hit songs already this summer.

First, we have “There’s Something Special” which is the track written and produced by Pharrell for the upcoming film Despicable Me 3. While floating over a very gleeful beat, we find Pharrell giving inspiration to listeners who may face hardships but will soon overcome them if they weather the storm. “Happy,” a song we all know far too well, was also made for the Despicable Me film series and brought Pharrell a Grammy award and was crowned as an official summer banger everywhere. From radio air waves to the occasional 10 year old’s birthday party, we’ll soon find out if this track can emulate and follow the footsteps of its predecessor.

This week Pharrell found himself accompanying another hot single by Calvin Harris alongside Katy Perry and Big Sean. “Feels” is the recently released single off the upcoming Calvin Harris album -  Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. The track is simply about not being afraid to catch the “feels” and the infatuation one would have upon falling for someone. “Feels” is certainly going to climb its way up the charts soon with its funky bassline and infectious percussion beats.

Lastly, “Bailan” off 2 Chainz fourth studio album comes in as a fast paced song and I’m not too sure what’s going on here or the overlapping message… except for TityBoi flexing over the Pharrell produced beat (which is heat) and Skateboard P desperately wanting to hit the dance floor and bailar (to dance in Spanish). “Bailan” is a hopeful contender to make it to the poles as well as your “turn up” playlists; getting you to the dance floor and ridiculously making a fool of yourself.
