Roll Your Windows Down

Roll Your Windows Down
“Roll Your Windows Down” is a compilation of my favorite 70s and 80s rock songs -- with homage to some other genres thrown in as well -- that makes that Friday commute home from work just that much better and really jazzes me up for a sunny weekend.
Roll Your Windows Down
Rock Classics Drinking Music Summertime Tunes
Without warning, spring went on holiday after the annual miserable pollen tsunami (I know my fellow Atlantans understand), and it seems summer weather is knocking at our door.
When I was young, my family overloaded me with music that came way before my time on long summer road trips (my first concert was The Beach Boys when I was five, and imagine my devastation upon arriving and realizing that half of them were no longer with us and that they were not, in fact, still producing new music in the 90s).
So, although I may have not been alive when any of my favorite music was top-40 material, I still experience waves of nostalgia when summer weather rolls around and I can sit outside, crack open a beer, put on one of my oldies playlists and reminisce on my non-existent childhood in the 70s.
“Roll Your Windows Down” is a compilation of my favorite 70s and 80s rock songs -- with homage to some other genres thrown in as well -- that makes that Friday commute home from work just that much better and really jazzes me up for a sunny weekend. So whether you’re celebrating Cinco de Mayo with friends this weekend, cooking out with family, or just driving around aimlessly and windows-down with no destination in mind -- put on this playlist and enjoy a dose of the classics.
